INGREDIENTS FOR MARINATING THE PORK BELLY TO PREPARE THE SAMGYEOPSAL
• Pork belly
• ¼ cup soy sauce
• 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
• 1 tablespoon Gochujang sauce
• 1 teaspoon sesame oil
• ½ teaspoon freshly grated ginger
• ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
• Kosher salt
• Freshly ground black pepper

PROCESS TO MARINATE THE SAMGYEOPSAL
• Put the soy sauce, rice vinegar, Gochujang sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste and mix very well
• Dip the pork belly into the mixture so it is well covered with the mixture, marinate in the refrigerator for at least three hours and at most twenty-four hours before grilling
Marinating helps the meat stay moist throughout the grilling process.

¼ cup doenjang (Korean soybean paste)
1 green onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
2 tablespoon gochujang (Korean red chilli paste)
1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
2 teaspoons sugar
2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds
HOW TO SERVE THE SAMGYEOPSAL
The samgyeopsal is served with either lettuce leaves, Korean perilla leaves, Korean pickled white radish, Korean green onion salad, ssamjang (Korean spicy dipping sauce) and fresh cucumber alongside others etc.
